Grief Resource Packs<\/span><\/h1><\/div>

Losing someone important can be incredibly difficult for children and young people. Grief can bring many emotions and questions, and it can take time for them to understand and express what they are feeling. At Fresh Minds Education, we have created gentle bereavement resource packs to help support young people as they begin to navigate their grief, offering age-appropriate tools, comfort, and guidance for the adults who care for them.<\/p>\n

This short form allows a <\/span>parent, carer, teacher, youth worker, or another trusted adult<\/span><\/b> to request a Child Bereavement Pack or Teen Bereavement Pack for a young person they know. These packs are designed to provide simple, compassionate resources that help open conversations about grief and remind young people that <\/span>they are not alone<\/b> in what they are experiencing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the form is completed, our team will review the request and arrange for the appropriate pack to be sent to the address provided.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our Child Pack<\/span><\/h1><\/div>

Our Child Bereavement Pack is designed for younger children who are navigating the loss of someone important in their life. At the heart of the pack is a <\/span>Bamber Bear,<\/b> a soft comfort teddy that can help children feel safe and supported during difficult moments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside the bear, the pack includes child-friendly bereavement resources that help children begin to understand their feelings and express their grief in a gentle, age-appropriate way. It also includes a guide for parents and carers, introducing the AMBER approach, which offers simple guidance on how adults can support a grieving child through listening, reassurance, and open conversations.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Our Teen Pack<\/span><\/h1><\/div>

Our Teen Bereavement Pack is designed for young people who may be experiencing grief during their teenage years. The pack includes a book about grief that helps teens better understand the emotions and experiences that can come with loss.<\/p>\n

It also contains a grief support leaflet that explains common grief responses and points young people toward further support and resources available through Fresh Minds Education. Finally, the pack includes a Glimmer of Hope pin \u2014 a small reminder that even in the hardest moments, they are not alone and that moments of hope and light can still be found.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
