When my mum died, everything changed. I\u2019m a teenager, and I didn\u2019t know how to talk about what I was feeling – mostly because I didn\u2019t even understand it myself. I felt angry, numb, alone\u2026 and like I had to pretend I was okay.<\/p>\n

When I started counselling through the Glimmer Project<\/strong>, I wasn\u2019t sure it would help. But from the first session, I felt safe. My counsellor didn\u2019t push me – she just listened. Slowly, I started to open up.<\/p>\n

We talked, created, and explored ways to cope with the sadness and the memories. I learned that my feelings weren\u2019t wrong – they were part of grief. And that it was okay to feel joy again too.<\/p>\n

Glimmer helped me feel connected -not just to my mum, but to myself. I still have hard days, but I don\u2019t feel alone anymore.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/blockquote>
